Inkaras was a famous shoe factory in Lithuania. After surviving for more than half a century it infamously went bankrupt in early 90’s. Workers even went on a hunger strike. Factory and it’s bankruptcy became one of the highlights of the early capitalism in Lithuania. To archive and exhibit the memories of the people and objects from the factory, we created a conveyor-like object floating in space.

The architectural object created inner space for personal memories and outer space for paintings inspired by the factory. The conveyor itself was filled with objects from the factory – shoes, mockups, flip flops, other rubber products.
